1. Introduction
These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the Northern Auto Parts website and the purchase of any products from us. By browsing our site or placing an order, you confirm that you accept these terms in full. If you do not agree with any part of them, please do not use our website. Northern Auto Parts is a UK-based retailer of aftermarket automotive parts and accessories.
2. Use of Website
You agree to use this website only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe the rights of, or restrict the use of, this site by any third party. Specifically, you agree:
- Not to misuse the site by knowingly introducing viruses or other malicious material.
- Not to attempt unauthorised access to our servers, systems, or any account data.
- To provide accurate and current information when creating an account or placing an order.
3. Orders & Payment
All prices are shown in pounds sterling (GBP) and include VAT where applicable, unless stated otherwise. Delivery charges are calculated and displayed at checkout before you confirm your order.
When you place an order, you will receive an email acknowledging that we have received it. This acknowledgement does not constitute acceptance of your order. A contract between us is only formed once we send you a dispatch confirmation. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order — for example, if a product is out of stock, if there is an error in the price or description, or if payment cannot be authorised.
4. Product Information & Fitment Disclaimer
We sell aftermarket automotive parts, which are compatible replacements manufactured by third parties rather than by the original vehicle manufacturer. While we work hard to ensure product listings, images, and compatibility data are accurate, it remains your responsibility to confirm that a part is correct for your specific vehicle before fitting.
- Always check your vehicle registration, VIN, or the original part number against the listing.
- If you are unsure, contact our team before ordering — we are happy to help verify fitment.
- We strongly recommend that parts are fitted by a qualified mechanic in line with manufacturer guidance.
- We cannot accept liability for parts ordered incorrectly or fitted improperly.
5. Returns & Cancellations
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, if you are a consumer you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods, without giving a reason. This is known as the cooling-off period.
- To cancel, notify us in writing within 14 days and return the item within 14 days of doing so.
- Goods must be returned unused, in their original condition and packaging.
- Refunds are processed within 14 days of us receiving the returned goods or proof of return.
- Electrical parts and items marked non-returnable for safety reasons may be exempt where fitted or unsealed.
Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights, including your right to a repair, replacement, or refund for goods that are faulty or not as described.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any loss or damage arising from your use of our products or website is limited to the price you paid for the goods concerned. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including loss of use, loss of profit, or damage caused by incorrect fitting. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded under UK law.
7. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions and any dispute or claim arising out of them are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
